Emily McAdam

Emily has two children in Hutton Rudby Primary School having moved to the village in 2019.  Originally from Halifax, she moved to the North East to study at Newcastle University, met her now husband and never left! She works as a GP in one of the largest practices in Middlesbrough, striving to manage the health needs of a diverse population. She has a particular interest in SEND.

Being new to the education system, and from a parent’s perspective, she feels the overall health and wellbeing of our children is crucial to allow them to flourish socially and academically.

Emily enjoys yoga, running and is a recent convert to road biking. She loves escaping to the Lake District for muddy dog walks and outdoor family adventures.

About Synergy Schools

Synergy Schools is a federation of primary schools in the north of North Yorkshire. The federation was formed in September 2018 when Brompton-on-Swale and Crakehall Church of England Primary Schools successfully shared senior leadership capacity. In July 2021, the federation welcomed Leeming & Londonderry Community Primary and Pickhill Church of England Primary school into the federation.
