Pickhill Church of England Primary Voluntary Controlled School school is a small friendly school with strong links to the local community.

I am delighted to welcome you to our wonderful, small village school. We have between 30 and 50 children on role, taught between 2 classes which are supported by a team of incredible staff who have your children’s best interests at heart. At Pickhill we make it our priority to know and understand your individual children. We recognise that every child is unique and ensure we tailor our curriculum to nurture the needs of your children, so that we can enable every child to "let their light shine!".

Bookings are still open for the Easter Holiday Club at Brompton-on-Swale CE Primary School 🐣🐰🍫 Children can attend for either a full (07:30-18:00) or school (09:30-15:30) day, with transport available to and from Pickhill Primary School. Children attending for the full day will be provided with a breakfast and light tea. Please provide your child with a packed lunch. With a dedicated Sports Coach every day, children will enjoy a jam-packed day of sports, crafts, play and much more! If you'd like to secure a space for your child(ren) please book now via the MCAS app. Bookings using tax-free childcare vouchers and FEAST Holiday Activities vouchers are accepted.

Fantastic day in the woods with perfect weather! 🌳 Year 6 built, lit, and maintained fires—then toasted marshmallows for everyone 🔥 We also enjoyed mini beast hunts, shelter building, and mindful time in nature. A brilliant day of teamwork, learning, and outdoor fun!

About Synergy Schools

Synergy Schools is a federation of primary schools in the north of North Yorkshire. The federation was formed in September 2018 when Brompton-on-Swale and Crakehall Church of England Primary Schools successfully shared senior leadership capacity. In July 2021, the federation welcomed Leeming & Londonderry Community Primary and Pickhill Church of England Primary school into the federation.
