Governance

Frances Bainbridge

Frances has two children, her eldest daughter attends Pickhill School and her youngest will join in 2026.

She is the Regional Director for a company specialising in the recruitment of office and accountancy professionals in the local area. She enjoys leading, training and managing her team, whilst looking to continually develop collaborative relationships with local businesses and organisations.

Frances is Church Warden and Parish Safeguarding Officer for All Saints’ Church, Pickhill and Treasurer of the School's PTA. She assists in running a fortnightly “Pop in and Play'”session at the School, which has been hugely successful in attracting parents and carers of non-school age children living in the surrounding villages, who get to see first-hand what an amazing place it is for its pupils to learn.

Frances is passionate about the importance of small schools within their communities and supporting the continued development of the unique and enriched education they offer their children.

About Synergy Schools

Synergy Schools is a federation of primary schools in the north of North Yorkshire. The federation was formed in September 2018 when Brompton-on-Swale and Crakehall Church of England Primary Schools successfully shared senior leadership capacity. In July 2021, the federation welcomed Leeming & Londonderry Community Primary and Pickhill Church of England Primary school into the federation.
