Support for Service Families
The Service Pupils' Champion
The Service Pupils' Champion is a unique role which was created to provide extra support for the large numbers of service children in the Catterick area of North Yorkshire. Our Service Pupils' Champion supports the emotional well-being and social development of children and young people aged 5-18, especially during periods of active deployment and exercise and at times of transition.

Contacting School
Clearly service families can contact school in all of the usual ways. However, due to popular demand, we have also created a separate email address which can be used to inform school of any impending deployments, postings or anything else related to being a service family. The email address is:
servicefamilies@pickhill.school
Which member of staff should I contact if I have a query related to being a service family?
Again, the usual lines of communication are always open to you (Mrs. Bowes in the school office; your child's class teacher; a member of the school's senior leadership team).
However Mrs Lerigo, who is a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, has responsibility for the provision for service families and pupil transition in school. She can be contacted via the school office or via the email address above.
